Occasional travel for external events required Calm, flexible, driven, self-motivated and punctual A shared interest in Each Other Company/Further Reading Press's business and culture Incredibly organised with the ability to manage complex schedules and overlapping deadlines Commercially astute with experience managing a business or people and negotiating contracts Experience in a similar or comparable role, minimum 1 year experience in studio management, administration, project management, brand strategy, account management or similar (within art, design, culture, publishing, retail sectors) Represent the company at external events Prepare tenders and write requests for proposal (RFP) Maintain and monitor leads and sales pipeline Contacting potential clients via email or phone to set up meetings Support the Creative Director in identifying and generating new business opportunities Prepare monthly management accounts and cash-flow reports for the Creative Director Issue invoices and pay bills following agreed payment terms Track project expenditure in order to meet agreed budgets Monitor and manage scope changes for projects Prepare and negotiate estimates and contracts with clients and suppliers Monitor time-tracking in the studio's time tracking software and alert design team and clients as projects near time allocation Conduct regular project status meetings with designers and project reviews Develop and monitor schedules for each project Manage projects from briefing to delivery, updating and monitoring design tasks as needed Overseeing processing, packing orders, and ensuring correct customs documentation from online foundry and sales, with assistance from designers Point of contact for wholesale distribution enquiries and requests Maintaining our website: adding products, adjusting stock/pricing with assistance from designers, and adding press activities Monitoring and coordination of new business enquiries with Directors Support the clients by ensuring that design solutions meet commercial requirements Monitor and manage project scopes with the design team and clients Act as the primary main interface between the design team and client organisations Support the Creative Director and Designers overseeing conversations with clients, prepare agendas as required Take ownership of business operations and lead it with supervision from the Creative Director Support the Creative Director to define scope, budget, and timelines for projects Design operations include all aspects of running a small but dynamic creative studio: project management, finance, and business development. As a key liaison in our design and business operations, you would be supporting the creative director and design team and coordinating with clients. This is a key management role within our team in which the successful applicant will oversee coordination of the studio, leading on project management and design operations. Each Other Company/Further Reading Press is looking for a Project/Studio Manager to further strengthen our studio on the business spectrum, for both our creative consultancy and retail.
